تختلف أنواع فلاتر المياة حسب عدد المراحل، فتصل عدد مراحل فلاتر المياة إلى 7 مراحل وهي الأعلى درجة في نقاء الماء المستخرج من الفلتر، فيمر الماء بالمراحل التالية :
المرحلة الأولى:هو مرشح للرواسب بمقدار 5 ميكرون لأزالة المواد العالقة كالأتربة و الرواسب

المرحلةالسادسة: تقوم باإضافة المعادن والأملاح المفيدة للجسم (كالسيوم – ماغنسيوم – بوتاسيوم – زنك ) التي تساعد علي تحسين وظائف الجسم وتقوية المناعة
